Yr wyf yn byw yn Cwm Gwendraeth, ac yr wyf yn cael fy ysbridoli gyda’r bywyd natur gwyllt o’n amgylch.
Dw i wastad wedi dwli fod tu-allan, yn gwrando ar yr adar wrth eistedd o dan cysgod y coed – a nawr, dw i yn darlunio bywyd gwyllt trwyddo inc a lliwiau dwr.
Astudiais Celfydau Cain yn Prifysgol Casnewydd, ac yna fe wnes i enill Ysgoloriaeth Artist Ifanc gyda’r Eisteddfod Genedlaethol.
Ers hynny dw i wedi darlunio sawl llyfryn, ac dw i yn gael fy comissiynu i greu celf o bob fath. Syniadau celf (conceptual art) ar gyfer Nia Ceidiog, i prosiectau personol ar gyfer unigolion.
Yr wyf wedi creu celf ar gyfer ffan Dr Who sydd yn y Guiness World Book of Records, i ffan surfio wrth darlunio ar surf-board!

My name is Rebecca Storch; welcome to Greenbird Art.
I’m a Welsh/German artist, living in beautiful west Wales, where I’m surrounded by the beauty of the wild landscape and its inhabitants.
When I was little, I would tame the chickens, pretend to be a whole farm of different animals, and spend hours flicking through a massive tome of a book entitled “Birds of The World”.
I loved nature, I adored birds, I had a passion for being outdoors.
And I haven’t changed!
Today you can find me gazing out from my little home, over the fields and forests, holding my binoculars to my searching eyes, looking at robins, wrens, jays, buzzards and magpies and more.
I then flourish my brush into all my ink pots and let the birds, the flora and the fauna splash out onto my paper in bursts of bright and bold colours.
I studied Fine Art: Contemporary Media at University, going on to win the Young Artist of the Year Scholarship at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. Since then I’ve worked as an illustrator and artist, creating works for books, websites, brand logo’s and private commissions.
At the core of who I am is a reverence, love and respect of the natural world. I want to inspire a connection to nature with all my creative passions. Here you will find my absolute love for birds, flowers, trees and animals through my bright, modern, cheerful and bold art work!
